Hello here is my idea about the game :
new players will have some explore missions , to know the world as this stage of the game they are invulnerable (having an icone on them that advertise), they will be weaponless too, when those missions are finished , they will have access to armors/weapons.
Until lvl 10 they can swap as much armor/weapons they want , but they can only have one at the time , at lvl 10 they must chooses they're set (light/medium/heavy weapons/armors)
- IMO it will not be any passive speed , some spells are ok , but speed will be handicaped by armor weight , they're is no reason why a heavy armored player can run as fast as an lightly armored one, but to avoid glitch you will not be able to swap armor under ennemies fire (20sec) and will will have to stand still for 5 sec for changing armor.
The first weapon/armor are free but the others will need to be "payed" in some way (doing missions).
we should at first limit the number of armor at 3 , just because doing more will ask more work to the graphist , we have a serious leak of graphist so don't overburn them with work , small is beautiful , let's do few but good instead of much and bad , we can later introduce more choices.
